Jeff – He had been talking to me and I snapped the photo just as he turned his attention back to the traffic stop. The sideways thing is not a technique that’s taught to officers.

In that last picture I notice the deputy has his gun held sideways. Was he trained to do so in this particular instance for some reason? Could it be his personal shooting style, or is it just something the camera caught in that split second the picture was taken? I wasn’t there to know just what was going on, unfortunately.
