    Gina, I have some weird trivia to share. Like other languages, English is an ever-changing thing. Back in the old days “man” and “mankind” meant all humans, regardless of race or gender. If you read the founding documents of our nation with this in mind, they take on a whole new meaning. I’m not trying to start an argument, just a view of how our language has changed.
